Does this product infringe on any of Keurig’s patents? I’d like to get one, but am afraid that if the company is sued, it’ll become obsolete as the filters become unavailable…

No. It may fit in the hole, but it’s unlike anything Keurig has. This company has been making the Pod Holster for a long time with no issues and this is almost the same. Even if by some chance they stopped selling the filters I’ll bet you will have still saved over replacing a My K-cup several times.

Those filters, are they bleached? Is there a way to get non-bleached ones if so? Thanks!

They make ‘my k-cups’ were you don’t have to purchase paper filters and don’t have to worry about the company going out of business. The breville k-cup maker comes with one, but you can buy them separately.

wow an advertisement! I bought the kerig cup that has the built in filter so i dont have to buy expensive wasteful one time use filters…….it does the same thing just cheaper…….and greener…..plus there are other companies that sell this same style cup with reusable filter ……..so there! put that in your pie hole!

@dayingyang0 This system is a lot better in my opinion. I don’t like the metal screen of the My Kcup filter. It gets clogged and hard to clean after a while. The Perfect Pod system also just makes a better tasting coffee.

I have the Breville with the my k cup but what I really want is a machine that I can put ground coffee into and through some mechanical means produce little filter wrapped packets that are small enough to drop into the my k cup holder. Then I can just dump the filter into the trash. Maybe I’ll invent it and become a millionaire :)
